Underwater Pressure
Program Description
In Chapter 5 of Learn to Program with Scratch, we focused on learning how complete programs using procedures. The first program that I decided to work on was one entitled Under Water Pressure. The instructions asked us to complete the program so that as the fist swam around, it would say what depth it was at. While, I made some minor modifications like changing the background and adding sound, I was most pleased by modifying the program so that it asked the user to input the depth and having the program provide the pressure.

Embedded Scratch Program
Snowflake
Program Description
The completed code needed to create a snowflake was provided by the author, Majed Marji, on page 89 of the text and helped to further my understanding of how procedures can be used to hand repetitive tasks. However, I decided to add a few modifications to the program. In particular, I was impressed that I was able to get the program to create a series of snowflakes on random spots within screen.
